After honing his skills in the legendary clubs and listening rooms of Nashville, Tennessee, Shore returned to Calgary in 2007 to tremendous songwriting success. The singer-songwriter was awarded both the best song by a newcomer and best song about Alberta in the Calgary Folk Music Festivals' Songwriting Competition. Another trip to the finals of the competition in 2008, and subsequent award, has firmly solidified his place amoung this province's best songwriters.
