For Edmonton-via-Winnipeg's Brock Tyler, building this debut record was a labour of love, and it shows. Taking great care to piece the album together track by track, instrument by instrument over the course of two years, it is the magic and calm elaborateness behind this careful building that makes the album shine. Tyler wrote, performed, recorded and produced this album on his own with the occasional voice brought in for harmony notes. It's one of those quiet records you quickly find yourself going back to, time and again.
