These guys are closing in on 8 years together, a four piece churning out some wicked dirty, gritty blues that will certainly rattle you right to the core. This latest album from the world-touring veterans is one they put together with the steady hand of Dave Alcock (Chixdiggit, Falconhawk, Amos Garrett), and features a few covers of blues legends (Sleepy John Estes, Son House) in addition to the rollicking originals we are used to, but my favourite is the band's take on a Cajun song called 'La Valse de Balfa'. But truly, this is one hell of a record best heard in its entirety to hear the full effect of this band's prowess and guts. Where could you find such a record to add to your digital collection, you ask?
