There couldn't be a more apt scene than Nashville to record an album like "Highway Prayer", a record put together with the knowledgeable hands of famed Canadian bluesman Colin Linden (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, Bruce Cockburn). There are some torchers on this album, some rockabilly, blues and swing influences, but this is an album by a pair who are well matched in love and music. It's no surprise this album is up for an award at this year's Western Canadian Music Awards for Outstanding Roots Recording by a duo.
